My Holidays

On Tuesday I went out with my uncle, sister and my niece .First we went to Nature land. We bought some riceys to feed the animals. We were running away because it was time to go. Then we went to Tahananui Beach. We had a play. We got Mr Whippie. Ash and amber got an ice-cream. I got a soda. We played some more but I was not feeling very well so we went home. On the way home I went SPLAT!I threw up so we got home and I kept throwing up! After that I lay down and I felt a lot better. I’m never going to have a soda again.

Last weeked

On saturday I went to kelles house and we slept with jodis puppy lulu. We had ten packets of popcorn on the trampoline. We watched alven and the chipmucks. We played on the computer. Oh and on sunday we went to chipmucks. I hope that we can do it again.

The Massive Storm

On Wednesday there was horrible storm in Nelson. Trees were falling on things like cars. It was a terrible storm. People got blown away. When I got home my door nearly came off. It was a windy day. Joe’s cat nearly blew away. It was a swirling whirling day.

We are learning to write an argument that will persuade the reader to agree with our point of view. We need to include:
· An introduction which states the problem and tells our opinion,
· Reasons for our opinion,
· An ending which restates our opinion.
The first one we have written is about what needs to happen so we get a fair turn using the computer at home.
Eight year olds have trouble getting to use the computer at home. In my opinion everyone should have their own computer so that a big sister or brother can have their own.

What Nelson central Means to me

I have been in four lovely classrooms. They are Rooms 12, 9, 13 and 5 but my best one is Room 5 because Viv is very good at teaching us. I love Viv because she is funny. I hope I will be in Room 5 again.

The Legend of the Willow Pattern Plate

200 years ago in China there was a very rich man and his loveliest daughter named Koong-se. Koong-se loved a man called Chang but the father did not want them to love each other.
So one day Koong-se’s dad built a fence and then Chang dressed up as a servant. He ran
away with Koong-se and lived on a small island for a few years until one day the duke found Chang and put him to death. Koong-se was so sad she lit the house on fire while she was still in it. Then they were both dead but they turned into doves and lived happily in the sky.
